Newton’s First Law

(inertia)

an object at rest unless acted upon by an unbalenced force will remain at rest, and an object in motion will continue to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalenced outside force.
Newton’s Second Law
acceleration is produced when a force acts on mass and the greater the mass of the object being accerlerated, the greater the amount of force needed to accerlate that object.
Newton’s Third Law
for every action there is an equal and oppisite reaction
Simple Machine
Few or no moving parts and can change size and or directions of parts
Complex Machine
two or more simple machines working together to facilitate work

Anything that takes up space
Volume
describes the amount of space matter takes up
Weight
the amount of gravitational force exerted over an object
